Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PetSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

Use of Service

You agree to use PetSync only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms:

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to PetSync, including pet photos and care logs. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing our service.

Household Sharing

When you invite others to your household, you acknowledge that they will have access to view and modify pet care data within that household. You are responsible for managing household membership and can remove members at any time.

AI Health Guidance Disclaimer

PetSync includes an AI assistant ("Buddy") that provides general pet care information and guidance. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
• You should always consult a licensed veterinarian for any health concerns, medical decisions, or emergencies involving your pet.
• We are not liable for any decisions made, actions taken, or outcomes resulting from AI-generated guidance.
• AI responses may not always be accurate or applicable to your specific situation.

Subscriptions & Billing

PetSync offers free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Includes 1 pet, 2 household members, 3 days of feeding history, and dark mode.
• Pro Tier: Includes unlimited pets, unlimited household members, full feeding history, medications tracking, vet records, AI health assistant, pet health reports, and push notifications.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
• Free Trial: Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Pet Health Reports

PetSync allows you to generate and share PDF health reports containing your pet's information. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to share and with whom you share it. We recommend reviewing the report contents before sharing with third parties.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

PetSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Decisions made based on AI-generated health guidance
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Actions taken by household members you invite
• Third-party access to shared pet health reports

PetSync is a pet care coordination tool and should never replace professional veterinary advice. In case of pet health emergencies, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
