Open the Household tab and tap Invite someone. Your phone’s share sheet opens with a short message and your household code, so you can send it by text, email or any chat app. You can also tap the code to copy it.

The other person downloads PetSync, signs in and taps I have an invite code. If they already use PetSync, they can join from their own Household tab.

Yes, at any time, and owners can too. Open the Household tab, tap Join another household and enter the code someone shared with you. PetSync shows you the household’s name before anything changes.

If you’re the only person in your current household, you can bring your pets with you. If other people share it, your pets stay there with them.

The household owner can do this. Open the Household tab, find the person under Members and tap the remove button next to their name. They lose access to your household. Meals they already logged stay in the history.

Not the owner? You can leave on your own with Leave Household on the same screen.

Anyone who has your code, so share it with the people who actually feed your pets. In the app, your pets and their meals only show up for people in your household. If the wrong person gets in, the owner can remove them.

A meal shows up on everyone’s phone as soon as it’s logged, with the name of the person who logged it. So before you feed, a quick look tells you if someone already did.

If you tap Feed for the same pet again within a minute, PetSync treats it as a double tap and logs the meal only once. If two different people each log a meal, both appear in the history, each with a name.

Logged one by mistake? Tap Undo on the confirmation that appears right after you log. It stays on screen for a few seconds.

Yes. Right after you log a meal, tap Add note on the confirmation. Add a note, a photo, or both. Everyone in the household sees them in Activity.

The Activity tab shows your household’s meals, newest first, with who logged each one and when. Open a pet from Home to see that pet’s recent feedings.

Yes. PetSync needs an internet connection to log meals and to keep every phone in the household up to date. If a meal can’t be saved, the app tells you so you can try again. To refresh, pull down on Home.

Open a pet from Home and tap Reminder times. PetSync spaces reminders through the day based on how many meals the pet gets. Or turn on Custom reminder times and pick your own.

Reminders go quiet once the pet is fed. Log a meal up to two hours before a reminder and that reminder is skipped. Once the pet has had all of today’s meals, there are no more reminders for it today.

Reminders need notifications turned on. A pet set to no daily meal limit gets no reminders unless you add custom times.

Yes, if notifications are on. When someone in your household logs a meal, everyone else gets a notification like “Luna was fed! Sam just fed Luna.” You don’t get one for meals you log yourself. Medication doses work the same way.

If a pet still has nothing logged well after its last mealtime of the day, everyone in the household gets a heads-up.

Turn notifications on or off with Push Notifications in the Household tab.

No. PetSync is free, with no ads and no subscription. Add as many pets and people as you like.

You can do it in the app. Open the Household tab, tap Manage Account, then Delete Account. Tap Continue, then type DELETE.

This permanently deletes your account and every meal and medication dose you logged. If you’re the only person in your household, the household and its pets are deleted too, with all of their history. If other people share it, the household and pets stay with them, and if you were the owner, one of them takes over. This can’t be undone.
